Kids digg is like a conference , 2 year 6’s will be giving a short speech on a topic of their choice. It will happen in 2 Tuesday’s time. Year 4’s and 5’s will choose which speech to listen to and who’s is the best. Some of the speeches include; the pudding top 10 , by James W and Henry C , how to become a top tennis player by Max E , Toby B and Gus C and try not to break the window by Alex H. There will be a prize of a bag of maltesers in each group.

The Hurlingham fun event , the crazy bike has just finished and many people at FPS have been running around the playground clutching sponge bob toys.(you were given one if you entered) I managed to get hold of some year 5’s Felix D said that

it was fun and annoyingly hard.

Alexander B even said

it was mission impossible!

Mr Young decided to have a go and he said

I should have worn a helmet.

People have recently discovered a new species of pirahnna, a flying one! These flying little menaces feed on the most common thing – humans. Scientists are baffled how pirahnnas have developed the ability to fly.Many people have claimed to have been attacked by one.

The Jumping Cactus

The jumping cactus (also known as the teddy bear cholla) is a large cactus found in southern USA and Mexico. It does not actually jump but it sticks to you is youbrush against it. It is about 4 metres tall. During droughts animals like bighorn sheep use their fruit for food and water. They have small but deadly spines and these little suckers and spines are very difficult to get out, only pliars will do. So next time you go to Arizona or Mexico, be well equipped!

Penguin arrested for fish theft!

I talked to one of the witnesses, paul penguin

So, Paul ,what exactly happened at the scene of the crime?

Well, I was just going about my daily buisness,when a penguin wearing shades broke into the fish market!

What did this criminal penguin look like ?

He had shades, a long black jacket and a machine gun.

Louis: What made you want to go on such a long ride?

Charlie: I saw some pictures on tv which made me feel that I should do something about it.

Louis: How much money have you raised so far?

Charlie: I’ve raised half a million pounds, and counting!

Louis: How did you get all those sponsors?

Charlie: I sent an e-mail to all the people I know.

Louis: How did you get on the tv ?

Charlie: Lots of people heard about me and invited my family on.

Louis: how much cycling had you done before doing the ride?

Charlie: None at all !

Louis: What made you choose a bike ride rather than a run?

Charlie: I like the idea of biking and it will be quicker!

Louis : Do you have any tips on raising money?

Charlie : Yes, send an e- mail around to lots of people!

YEAR 5 PRODUCTION

The year 5’s are having a production. The play this year is the Tudors. It is quite a gory, exciting and funny play involving scary royals, leech- obsessed doctors and many more! I myself am playing the most leech obsessed doctor of the bunch. We are normally spotted brandishing our jars of leeches. Some other parts are; henry 8th is played by tariq and henry 7th is going to be played by george. I won’t give away all the secrets, but , children of Fulham Prep, prepare to have your socks knocked clean off !!

Haiti earthquake!!

Haiti is an island in the Caribbean that has been hit very badly hit by an earthquake.Buildings have toppled and many people have been injured,and many have died. Generally,not a pretty sight. Most people would think that Haiti was a beautiful beach, (and they would have been right). Survivors are left homeless, and have to seek refuge in tents. Normally at night, Port-Au-prince is bustling with tourists and locals,but now the whole island is eerily quiet. The worst hit buildings have been schools. Wikipedia thinks that the amount of dead people range from 30,000 to 10,000!

Following on from Nico’s interview with Mrs Wallace, earlier today, I caught up with Mr Mullings to ask him a few questions:

1. Where did you go to school?

Mr Mullings went to school in Sussex.

2. What do you like doing in your spare time?

What was your favourite lesson?

His favourite subjects were English and P.E.

3. What do you like doing in your spare time?

In his spare time, Mr Mullings played football.

4. What’s your least favourite subject?

Mr. Mullings least favourite subject was maths (sorry again Mr Roberts)

5. What’s your favourite song, film and book?

His favourite song at the time was Smooth Criminal by Michael Jackson, his fave film was The Goonies and his best book was Lord of the Flies.

6. If you could have dinner with any famous person who would it be?

Mr Mullings wouldn’t have dinner with any famous person, he would rather have dinner with his cousin,who was his best friend.

7. What food do you think is tastiest?

The food Mr Mullings always liked was prawns.

8. Did you always want to be a teacher? If not, what did you want to be?

Mr Mullings wanted to be a journalist or a comedian first.

9. What or who inspired you to teach?

Mr Mullings’ mother was his inspiration – thanks Mrs Mullings!!

10. If you ruled the world, what would your first order be?

“Stop all wars”

Hmmm… Prawns are teachers’ best friends? What do you think?!
