Charlie in Year 3 will be actively working to help those suffering in Haiti this weekend. He was so shaken by the destruction caused in the earthquake that he has decided to raise funds to help. He has decided to take a Sponsored Bike ride in South Park, but not only any leisure ride but a ride covering 7 laps of the park (which is about 5 miles). It takes an extraordinary amount of determination and discipline to pull off such a feat and many are supporting him. His target fundraising money was a modest £500 but now he has over 10 times this amount, a whopping £5,350. UNICEF executive director, David Bull said,
The little seed – his idea – that he has planted has grown rapidly and his is a place well deserved in the humanitarian world
If you want to donate or congratulate Charlie by going to his Just Giving website. Tune in next week for an exclusive interview with our fearlessly fantastic Fulham fundraiser.
