I think it’s time that children should have no more homework,and the teachers to have it!!If adults(parents and teachers)think it’s educational,why don’t they do it or go back to school. Children have eight hours of tough school, so why can’t we come home and relax?If you have anymore arguments on this particular article you are free to comment.

I think you’re right to challenge it and I like the way you’re not assuming that just because something IS done it is the right thing to do.
It is actually something various teachers worry about – and there are books about it too. There may even be evidence to suggest homework doesn’t help until you are 15!
So well done for raising it. But – and this is not done to sound teacherly and mean! – I’m sure your argument would be a little more persuasive if you proofread it before publishing

I think that homework is good (gasp). Really, teachers give you homework to help YOU. If you want to do well then you do them to get some extra study done. Don’t you learn better if you are doing something more often. If you do something only at school then go and do something completely different then details can slip from your mind. However, if you do a bit more work straight when you get home, it sticks. We also get days once in a while where there is no homework like Exam Week and near the end of term.
