The Tiger by Julia R

Camouflaged killer,
Tongue as red as blood,
Always ready to pounce,
Silently stalking his prey,
The dare of the dusk,
Claws like unshielded daggers,
Prowling in the orange grassland,
Eyes shining in the moonlight,
Cold breath,Warm blood,
Its teeth like a spear.

Terrorising the innocent of the deep,
Scanning the water for its prey,
Fin piercing the water like a needle through skin,
Skin as rough and shiny as metal,
As quick as a knife through cheese,
A dark shadow of the sea.
