On the 5 of march swim-squad girls went to a gala against 5 different schools. We had lots of different races: at first we did normal races and then we did fun races. The first race was: Princess Liela, where we had to dress up a person in a party hat, mask and a pom-pom and swimmers had to push her 4 lengths! Then we had to get dressed in wet pyjamas and hop into a rubber ring and swim a whole length - in wet pyjamas! The last one was to swim with balloons tied to our arms and legs!
Special thanks to Miss Dorset and Mr Reino for driving us safely there and back!!

I was there and it was so cool! On the way we taught Mr Reino how to sing a chant that goes like this:
Don’t mess, don’t mess, don’t mess with the best coz the best don’t mess,
Don’t fool, don’t fool, don’t fool with the cool coz the cool don’t fool!
B.E.A.T beat them
B.U.S.T bust them,
Beat them, bust them - that’s our custom
Come on girls lets readjust them,
To the east, to the west, FPS girls are the best!
We swam really well and although we didn’t come 1st,2nd or 3rd in any year group we still did well!
I want to congratulate Yasmin in Yr 4 and Lavinia in yr 5 for being Princess Laila in one of the fun races!
